A First Look at the Secret Garden Collection

It feels like this has been a long time in the making and I've been sharing little peeks for absolutely ages.

Today I'm thrilled to be able to bring you a first look at the finished Secret Garden collection, which will be launching properly in the New Year. (Pop your details in this form if you'd like to be the first to know.)

Delicate and pretty, combining botanical illustration with calligraphy-inspired fonts; wedding stationery perfect for creating a timeless, romantic feel.

Plum Blossom invitation suite in soft grey and copper

I'm an incurable romantic (goes with the territory). My initial muse was love letters - I love the idea of emotion elevating simple ink on paper being to a precious object. Little bundles of hand-written sheets tied with ribbon; well worn with the tying and untying, reading and re-reading. The ritual of keeping them secret. Going to the same sacred place every time to read cherished words; a magical corner of a forgotten garden, with only the birds and the blossom for company.  A bride on her wedding morning observing this ritual one last time, as she prepares to meet the letters' author.

The finished collection

From my initial test prints, I’ve narrowed the collection down to four colour ways; a palette of delicate blush, sophisticated greys and rich copper.  Each item is screen-printed by hand on beautifully smooth, decadently thick 540gsm Mohawk paper stock.  Bias cut silk habotai ribbons and elements printed on translucent stock provide the perfect finishing touches to heirloom stationery you’ll want to keep far beyond your wedding day.
