Plans for 2018

Hello, I hope December’s treating you well and you’re enjoying the run-up to Christmas!

I went for my first evening run in a long time the other night and bah-humbug as I can be about some things, seeing all the houses lit up did give me the starts of the Christmas tingles!

For me is a quieter time of year; peak wedding season is well and truly over and there’s a lull in enquiries until we all get to grips with real life again in the New Year.  But don’t worry, I’ve still got plenty to be getting on with! There’s some exciting plans in the pipeline for next year which I’m already beavering away at behind the scenes, and I’ve been taking some time to think about how I want my 2018 to look.

Chosen Wedding Fair

After a few years of avoiding wedding fairs (let’s be honest, we’ve all come across some dismal ones!), I’m excited to be exhibiting at Chosen's Bristol event in February. It's held in the wonderful Paintworks event space and promises to be full of brilliant and interesting suppliers. More than anything I’m looking forward to meeting lots of lovely couples and having a good chat about wedding plans. If you’d like to buy tickets, you can find them here.

New Designs

There’s a couple of new designs I’ve already got lined up for early next year - including the blackthorn blossom I shared last week - and plenty of ideas bouncing around in my head. I was massively inspired by the Welsh coastline over the summer, so designs with a flavour of the sea might feature quite prominently!

Rebrand & Website Update

I’m particularly thrilled to have my rebrand project well under way. My work has changed radically over the past couple of years and the current branding, right down to the name, really doesn’t feel right any more. This time around I’ve felt confident to tackle the project myself and I’m really enjoying the process; I've been chipping away at it over the last couple of months and to be honest, I'm getting impatient to share the new name and finished look with everyone in the New Year.

Alongside the new branding, the website will receive a total overhaul to match. As well as updating the overall look, there’s a few bits I’ve been meaning to tweak for a little while so now’s the time to get it sorted.

So that was a peek at what I'm going to be up to come 2018, I'd love to hear about your plans too. Until next time,

Rosie x
