Editorial Shoot at Chafford Park with Jessica Davies Photography and Emily K Weddings

Hello! I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far.  I’ve started to properly embrace Autumn this week: The boots and big coat have come out to be greeted like old friends whilst my flip flops and cropped trousers have entered hibernation. I’m ready for windswept walks, big jumpers and hot chocolate.  So, in the spirit of all things Autumnal, here’s a beautiful shoot I provided stationery for back in the spring!

Love is enough: though the world be a-waning,
And the woods have no voice but the voice of complaining,
Though the skies be too dark for dim eyes to discover
The gold-cups and daisies fair blooming thereunder,
Though the hills be held shadows, and the sea a dark wonder,
And this day draw a veil over all deeds passed over,
Yet their hands shall not tremble, their feet shall not falter:
The void shall not weary, the fear shall not alter
These lips and these eyes of the loved and the lover.

-William Morris

Taking her inspiration from William Morris, Emily Lancaster of Emily K Weddings set out to style the ultimate ethereal wedding day dream. Combining a blank canvas, rustic venue with fine art styling and delicate details. The finished look is organic, dreamy and elegant, combining a palette of earthy tones, soft pinks and nudes. Delicate gold accents along with flowing silk table runners add a touch of opulence to the rustic wooden tables. The beautiful florals by Jennifer Pinder clearly define this as a Springtime celebration, though using seasonal blooms you could easily adapt this look for any time of year.
