The Process

the process

Planning your wedding should be an experience to treasure. Allow yourself time to dream a little whilst exploring the collection. Begin by choosing your favourite design, and decide which elements and details to include in your invitation suite. Confirm your order with a booking deposit, securing my availability for your wedding date.

Upon receiving your order I’ll be in touch to request all the relevant information. The choice of how to word your invitations is entirely yours, though I’m very happy to offer guidance if you’re at all unsure.

I completely understand if you don’t quite have all the particulars yet, especially if you’ve chosen to include information booklets. Of course the sooner you’re able to provide details, the sooner I can produce your artwork.

Once I have all the necessary details I can create the artwork for your invitations. Depending on the complexity of your order, this stage may take up to two weeks.

You’ll receive a full set of digital proofs for approval before printing. To avoid the cost of reprints and delays to your order, it’s vitally important that you check these carefully before approving them. Up to three rounds of amendments are included free of charge, plenty to ensure every last detail is flawless.

I suggest allowing up to a week for this stage.

Upon approving your artwork, you’ll receive an invoice for the remaining balance. This needs to be paid in full before your order can be printed.

Your wedding invitation suite will be silkscreen printed by hand, before being carefully checked and assembled. This is where I appreciate your patience as your wedding invitations are not something to be rushed. I ask that you allow four to six weeks from settling your balance and approving your artwork.

Delivery is via Royal Mail Special Delivery. I’ll confirm the delivery address with you a few days beforehand to ensure someone will be available to sign for your parcel.

I’ll be delighted to create a whole plethora of paper items for your wedding day. If you’d like further details at this stage, please do let me know, though we can always discuss your requirements once the invitations are organised.
