terms and conditions

placing an order

  • To ensure your stationery receives every moment of personal attention it deserves, I limit the number of weddings I work on at any one time. Confirming your order with a booking deposit secures my availability for your wedding date.

  • You’re welcome to make your booking as early in the process as you’d like, even if you’ve not completely decided on the design and details.


payment

  • I have tried to keep the payment side of things as simple as possible. I ask for an initial booking deposit of £150 to secure my availability for your wedding. This deposit covers my time spent preparing your artwork and is therefore non-refundable.

  • Once you’re happy with everything and have approved your proofs, you’ll receive an invoice for the balance which is payable before your order is printed.

  • Payment is preferably via bank transfer, though I can accept credit card payments via the website upon request.


lead times

  • You are welcome to place your stationery order as early on as you like, ideally though at least two months before you’d like to send your invitations.

  • Depending on the size and complexity of your order, I ask that you allow four to six weeks for delivery from settling your invoice and approving your artwork.

  • Please let me know of any specific deadlines as soon as you can; I will always do my best to accommodate any special requests where possible.


providing information

  • Having received your order, I’ll be in touch via email to ask for all the relevant details. I completely understand you may not have all the finer details available straight away, though I’ll need all the information to create your invitations at least six to eight weeks before you plan to send them.

  • Text for your stationery needs to be supplied either as a Word or Pages document, ideally with as little formatting as possible.

  • Though I do keep an eye out for any glaring errors, sadly I’m unable to offer a proof reading service. To ensure the process is beautifully smooth from start to finish, I ask that you take a moment to check for any errors, spelling mistakes etc. before sending your text.


proofs

  • You’ll receive a full set of digital proofs for approval before printing. It’s vitally important that you take time to check these thoroughly before approving them.

  • Due to the nature of the silkscreen process, it is not possible to supply a printed proof. Samples are available if you’d like to see a design in real life before ordering.

  • Up to three rounds of amendments are included free of charge, plenty to ensure every last detail is flawless.

  • Should you need further changes, each subsequent round of amendments will be charged at £45.

  • If extra amendments are necessary I will do my best to avoid any delay to your order, though depending on scheduling and the additional time required, a delay may be unavoidable.

  • Once you have approved your proofs, please be aware you will be liable for any extra costs resulting from further changes.

  • Should you notice anything that needs changing after approving your proofs, please let me know as soon as possible. The sooner you can let me know of any changes, the easier (and cheaper) they will be to make, and the shorter any resulting delay to your order will be.


delivery

  • Complimentary delivery within the U.K. is included in the price of your stationery. I am very happy to offer international shipping, please contact me to discuss your requirements prior to placing your order.

  • Your finished stationery will be carefully packaged and sent either via Royal Mail Special Delivery, or where appropriate, a secure, tracked courier service. Once your parcel has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details.

  • Your parcel will be fully tracked en route and require a signature to ensure its safe arrival. Please don’t request that your parcel be left in a ‘safe place’. Inkflower Press cannot be held liable for any orders that go missing as the result of any such requests. You are very welcome to supply an alternative delivery address where somebody is able to accept delivery in person. Please note that the printing of replacement stationery may not be possible at short notice.


cancellation & refunds

  • Due to the personalised nature of your stationery Inkflower Press is unable offer refunds except in the unlikely event that goods are faulty. By approving your final proofs you accept responsibility for the details and layout as shown.

  • In the unlikely event you decide to cancel you order, any deposit paid is non-refundable. This includes the final balance should you cancel after settling your invoice. Any partial refund offered is entirely at my discretion.
